What it does
Model Detox scans your model and shows which render-engine data it contains: Enscape lights, assets such as people and plants, proxy objects, and invisible data collections attached to materials or the model itself. It recognizes Enscape, V-Ray, Twilight Render, SU Podium, Thea Render, and Lumion/D5.
All findings are grouped by render engine with an item count. You choose what should be removed — nothing is deleted without your approval. The cleanup runs as a single undo operation, so one Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z reverses the entire process. Orphaned components are then purged automatically, which can noticeably reduce the file size.
Model Detox removes only data it explicitly recognizes as belonging to a render engine. Unknown data is displayed but left untouched, as is protected information such as geolocation, Dynamic Components, or IFC classifications. Materials themselves are never deleted: only the engine-specific metadata is removed, while colors and textures remain intact.
Runs on Windows and macOS with SketchUp 2017 or newer.

I built Model Detox with Claude and use it in my own projects. You’re welcome to use it at your own risk.
